Document Management Solution Provider ImageFreeway Helps Businesses Get their Documents Under Control with Help from Intelligent Office.

Whether you’re generating 50 documents per day or more than 50,000, ImageFreeway can help you get and keep the mountains of pre-existing documents you need to run your business under control.

In 2002, ImageFreeway unveiled a practical, affordable solution for helping organizations ranging from healthcare and insurance to real estate and finance keep their important documents close at hand.

Better than the ever-handy file cabinet, ImageFreeway archives your important business documents in an intelligent, easy-to-access manner. Best of all, the ImageFreeway solution is cost-effective for businesses with as few as five employees or as many as 5000.

“If you generate a lot of paper and you need access to it, we have a solution,” explains Darren Chambers, CIO of ImageFreeway.

It is the flexibility of their solution that allows ImageFreeway to call upon customers anywhere reams of paper exist – from trucking companies to independent adjusters and hundreds of businesses in between.

“Our document imaging application does more than most people really understand,” continues Chambers. “It doesn’t really care what file format you use for storing your important records – .doc, .wav, .xls – as long as your PC can read it, our system can store and index it.”

ImageFreeway is available as a hosted solution, an ASP model where the application and customer data resides on secure servers in the ImageFreeway data centers, or it can be installed and managed on servers at the client’s own location.

Users access the system through a secure login to a simple browser-based interface. Read rights can be set at the user level to allow appropriate access to files. Documents are organized and indexed by common values like account ID or social security number. Users can search and locate information in just seconds.

As copy machine technology improves, ImageFreeway is seeing increasing competition from one end of this market countered by the $150,000 - $1million dollar software solutions at the other end of the market.

“Instead we have focused on filling a need in the small to medium size market by providing a simple, easy and cost-effective solution that is not weighed down by a bunch of features that clients don’t understand and never use.”

With unlimited users and unlimited scan sessions, they are making a compelling case for organizations to select ImageFreeway over costlier solutions.

ImageFreeway has its roots in the document scanning business and started their first organization, Advanced Data Storage, with Intelligent Office in 1999. Today all calls for ImageFreeway come through the receptionists at Intelligent Office. They also use the conference rooms for sales and company meetings.

“We try to get the team together once a month at either the Glenlake or Roswell location,” stated Chambers. “It is really convenient to have a choice of locations.”
