TVC Group Creates Lasting Memories, with Help from Intelligent Office

TVC Group is a full service video production facility for both personal and commercial products. In addition to video recording, editing and post-production, TVC Group services include DVD replication and CD duplication.

For Victor Imhans’ TVC Group, it is their ability to accurately capture the content as well as the emotions of individuals in video that sets them apart.

“With video you only have one chance to get it -- you have to mind your manners. It’s not like television and movies where you can play the scene over again,” explained Victor Imhans, President of the TVC Group. “There is only one chance to capture these moments that they will treasure forever.”

For Imhans, making the career change from corporate credit manager to professional videographer was the result of a life-altering event.

In 2003 he accepted the invitation of a personal friend to videotape the autobiography of a family member who happened to be a Korean WWII veteran. The family was so pleased with the results that they asked Victor for duplicate DVDs. But before he was able to deliver the copies, the Colonel died. It was the gratitude that they expressed for capturing his story that led Imhans to form the TVC Group in 2004.

“I knew immediately there was something in this business for me,” said Imhans. “With video I can create lasting memories for people and for their families.”

TVC Group has subsequently recorded more than 200 weddings across the state of Georgia but their business isn’t limited to personal videography production. TVC Group works closely with small businesses and corporations to create promotional and educational videos. A typical client may be an HR manager who needs to communicate policy and benefit programs to employees or a retail marketing manager who needs a product commercial to run in a show room.

Through relationships formed in his former position with a medical equipment manufacturer, Imhans has developed a medical equipment supply specialty and now has clients across the southeast

“We develop targeted marketing videos that demonstrate the use of their products for them to ship to sales representatives and prospects,” continued Imhans.

The projects keeping TVC Group most busy right now are their national accounts.

“We have close affiliations with religious and professional associations and these groups have invited us to document their conferences,” said Imhans. “Right now we’re recording a conference every other week.”

The TVC Group joined the Intelligent Office family in 2007.

“Coming from the credit industry, I recognized the importance of having a professional address,” explained Imhans. “I did a lot of research and found that Intelligent Office provided the things that I needed with the most flexibility.”
