E&S Home Maintenance Delivers High Quality Workmanship and Customer Service with Help From Intelligent Office

E&S Home Maintenance was formed in early 2007 when Sophia and Edward Lozano relocated from south Florida to Atlanta and brought their passion for remodeling homes and commercial buildings with them.

“My husband had been working in the home improvement industry for nearly 20 years – but always inside of another company,” explained Sophia Lozano. “Our move gave us the impetus to step out on our own.”

With an impressive repertoire of remodeling projects ranging from bathrooms and kitchens to the installation of drywall, gutters and tile, E&S Home Maintenance quickly found opportunities in the Atlanta market.

“One of our best clients lives in a neighborhood filled with 25 years old homes that were starting to show their age,” stated Ed Lozano. “His problems started with the failure of the polybutylene pipes installed throughout his home.”

Instead of simply making cosmetic repairs, E&S Home Maintenance took the extra time to upgrade the shoddy workmanship of the original builder, replacing everything from tile and drywall to light fixtures.

“We were able to set an entirely new mood for his bathroom, turning it into a room that he wants to spend more time in as opposed to someplace where he hurried to get in and get out,” added Mrs. Lozano.

Mrs. Lozano combines the skills she obtained studying fashion merchandising with her natural talents for selecting colors, styles and textures to bring life to spaces they transform.

Helping meet the needs and desires of homeowners while looking out for their investment is another hallmark of E&S Home Maintenance.

“Whether it is a remodel or simply repairs to bring something up to code, we help our clients select good quality materials while providing oversight to make sure that they stay within budget,” stated Mr. Lozano. “We’re also careful to help them make selections which will increase the overall value of their property.”

When not working on residential properties, the E&S team has helped business owners understand how remodeling their place of business can add to their bottom line.

“Once we overhauled a 45-year old restaurant,” began Mr. Lozano. “The faded décor – half Chinese, half Thai and half western – was really becoming a turn off for guests.”

Mr. Lozano helped the owner understand that restoring the appearance of the restaurant would attract the volume and quality of clients that they wanted. E&S went to work after hours, so they didn’t have to close the business operations, and made significant changes in atmosphere and floor plan.

“A month after our project was complete the owner reported that traffic had doubled and customers were staying longer resulting in an increase in ticket price of 50% or more,” exclaimed Mr. Lozano.

It is this business acumen and personal integrity that sets E&S apart of their competition.

“The number one problem in this business is contractors that don’t stick to their word, often promising anything to sell a job and then asking the customer to pay more when they run into problems,” explained Mr. Lozano.

It was Mr. Lozano’s commitment to his word that sold him on Intelligent Office.
